I became a caregiver when my sister got diagnosed with breast cancer. I helped her with everything until she passed. I did the same for my own mother until she passed at 91 years old. Since then i've worked in the industry for over ten years. The smile i see on the faces i'm helping is overwhelming at times, and encourages me to continue to help those in need. What i like most about being a caregiver is meeting different families and helping make an impact in their lives. Some may find this profession difficult but i find it uplifting to find ways to help make others comfortable, and happy. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions. I also know the importance of daily laughter to the spirit, so I always try to bring a sense of humor to my work! A personal achievement i'm proud of is getting phone calls from the families of my clients expressing how happy they are with my work and how much their mother or father love when i'm there! It makes me feel like i'm doing a good job and motivates me to keep up the good work Something about myself: I have one daughter, who is married and living in south Florida. My daughter recently had a beautiful baby boy and i simply love being a grandmother!
