My name is Terry Solis and I am a California licensed LVN / Home Health Care Aide and on the California HCA Registry, who has extensive experience caring for clients recently released from the hospital and recuperating at home. I had been with one client since her release from the hospital, her admittance into the Sharp Hospice program, and her end of life days. Many of my past clients have had Alzheimer's / dementia; strokes, hip and knee surgeries, Parkinson's, diabetes, ALS, cancer, COPD, and psychiatric cases. I have had experience managing medication, assisting with physical therapy exercises, medication management, bathing, personal care, wound care, G tube feedings; oxygen therapy, taking clients to medical appointments and have been person of contact for visiting home nurses and CNAs. I also volunteered for over a year at the Sharp Lakeview Hospice Home in La Mesa. Along with my Nursing Assistant training, I have American Red Cross certifications for Basic Life Support, CPR, and First Aid. I am a non-smoker and used to pets. I also have experience preparing meals, light housekeeping, and assisting with keeping the household running (taking car in for servicing and assisting in monthly payment of bills), grocery shopping. Hope to hear from you.
