She would take me to work with her and let me help with the residents (mainly just talking with them at that age). Once I got older I tried a few different types of jobs, didn't like them, and then tried caregiving and realized it was the work for me. I love it. I get to build connections with the elderly (who I still enjoy talking to as much as I did as a kid), work in a homely environment, and do things I actually enjoy like cooking and cleaning. You can rely on me to be compassionate, attentive, hardworking, and personable with my residents and their family and visitors. I'm also great at keeping schedules (the alarm app is my best friend).
