I am presently a caregiver I have a passion for helping others be it in public, at home , in the church or in the work place I have a special interest in those who have special need ( mild mental retardation, Dementia, intellectually challenged adults/children). What I like about doing this kind of work it is challenging as well as rewarding I have worked with many consumers with behavioral problems and have successfully redirected the behavior at least 75 to90% with the direction of a licensed Behaviorist. I am a middle age female who will be relocating to Colorado after the Holidays around the first of January I am presently a private caregiver for a twenty one year old female who is mentally challenged. I am so proud of my accomplishments so far, I am studying to get my certificate as a mental health specialist and then possibly my BA in Behavioral Science.
