I know how hard things can get, when, your life takes you down roads, you just were not prepared for, in happening to you. I treat the people, I work for, with care and kindness, to their situations. I like to be healthy, happy, cared about in a kind manner, So thats how I will treat your elder & or injured, that needs caring for. I am a certified Healer in body work, to help relieve pain by massage Swedish & Deep Tissue and bone manipulation adjustments Cranial Sacral/Ortho Bionomy. While I am caring for your elder, I would be like their guardian angel making sure that their needs are met. I'll always be there for them during my working hours. I simply am that healing angel, you called out for in prays, to come down and help you. I'm there for you in helping with your elder that needs assistance as long as you need me to be? Under the conditions that we get along and do what is best for the elderly or injured person, I'm taking care of. To get to know me, just a bit, I have raised 4 kids all on my own, I have had 3 careers that I can still work, as they just take a lot out of me, to do all I'm certified to do, in work on a regular basis. Except the raising of my kids, will always be on going, never ending work/love, when it comes to my kids, that are all adults. I am working towards my fourth career in becoming a paralegal as to which I switched from Paralegal to Private Investigator licensed as a Psychic Private Eye, I have finally recovered from a Motorcycle wreck that happened to me back in 2008 that put me on SSDI for the past 16 years. I am ready to get back out into the work force to help people that need help.

Elderly care giver for Alzheimer's (my grandmother)

I cared for my grandmother whom was in her 90s with Alzheimer's for 5 years in home care. I feed her along with giving her, her vitamins and medications at the correct times and filling out a chart on what she took when she took them. I put her to bed, got her up in the mornings, had her brush her teeth, then if she needed her bath or shower plus manicures and pedicures including brushing her hair. Got her dressed for the day and then we would make plans to go to parks or out to lunch. She liked to go for drives to include my kids in her life as she was their great grandmother. So I pretty much just took her everywhere with me while raising my children and that kept her feeling young. Days that she didn't feel like doing anything we stayed together and I kept her company watching TV and listening to all her stories when she was young or I would talk if she had nothing to talk about. I took her to all her doctors appointments, made sure that what ever she needed after doctors appointments were taken care of by changing of her bandages or taking of antibiotics. I would make sure she never stayed in bed all day unless she was ill with a cold or flu and I've even dealt with her sick from Phenomena both kinds . Changing of undergarments to keep her skin healthy.

Hello. I have been a caregiver in Oakmont, an adult community in Santa Rosa since June 2015. I have worked with clients who suffered strokes, falls, dementia, cancer, back surgeries and just about everything in between. Prior to Oakmont, I worked for different hospices in Walnut Creek and San Luis Obispo while raising my family. I genuinely enjoy working with clients in their final stages of life. They have taught me so much about how to live fully despite the inevitable limitations of aging. Some days are better than others for all of us. On the tougher days, I try to keep everyone focused on appreciating the here and now. I also like to keep clients active both physically and mentally, if possible. I enjoy preparing meals loaded with fresh fruits and greens and I make a mean stew too.
