My Experience with working as a caregiver/Companion has definitely expanded over the years. Its not always easy for the elderly and it can be challenging but my definite goal is to make them happy, keep them safe, and, keep them healthy. My clients have always noticed how happy I am I'm always smiling. I believe that when you surround yourself with positive energy it rubs off. My experience: Incontinence care, Medication, Doctor Apps, Grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, cleaning, bathing, checking blood pressure, checking for swelling, glucose blood test, range motion, physical/occupational therapy exercises. Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer Disease as well. When it comes to dementia and Alzheimer disease consistency is extremely important. I also want to add that my ideal family to work for is a family that is involved in a sense that I can personally grow a relationship with as well as feel comfortable to ask questions or go to you for support is essential.
