Some personal traits or areas or expertise I have that benefit me being a caregiver would be simply my personality, and respect. These two traits may seem not as important compared to others, but it definitely is a big important trait for an elder. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is knowing there are other caregivers out there that can be very mean and ugly to clients, and I definitely wouldn't want my parents or grandparents being treated less. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver would be building new relationships with the clients. I think it is so much more fun because they already been around so the stories are absolutely timeless! A personal achievement I am proud of would be learning how to control myself in tough situations.
