My name is Jessica. I have been a certified nurse aide since 2013 and have worked in a variety of settings as a CNA and medication technician including assisted living, memory care and skilled facilities. I have also spent time as a resident care coordinator and memory care director for major assisted living companies. I take pride in my role as a caregiver as I feel everyone should be cared for the way I would care for my own mum. I started out as a caregiver because I needed a job when my husband became disabled. Because of the number of relationships I have built over the years - I have taken on hobbies that I didn't even know existed. One of my residents taught me how to knit and crochet. Another, gave me my first piece of carnival glass and my collection is now over 100 pieces strong! I am always eager to learn from the people I connect with, because we all have something to share with one another, and I am so glad that I was given this path to follow.
