I've helped my mom out with her job at Bruce MCcandles State Veterans Home. I helped wash laundry and fold their clothes. I helped check on retired veterans and others. I watched how their food was prepped and handed out to them. I love helping people and being there for them in anyway I can so I found it in being a caregiver can give me that. The biggest benefit to being a caregiver is the learning experiences you make, the people you meet and all the bonds you build are unlike any other. I'm personally proud of stepping out of my shell. I used to not be a super social butterfly but I opened up because it gives me better opportunities
