Some things about myself that help me to be a better caregiver is that I am very aware and attentive of my surroundings as well as specific details. I have a high tendency of toeing the line when provided with a set responsibility. I am also capable of establishing and respecting boundaries, on top of being very vocal and big on communication with others. All of which I can do while carrying patience and positivity. What had attracted me into becoming a caregiver in the first place , was my family and my desire to help them in all parts of their lives. In specific, my grandparents. What I enjoy most about caregiving , would have to be the learning of the little details of others. What makes them who they are and all their little quirks. You get to know people deeply and on a whole new level. As for a personal accomplishment of mine, I hold a special place in my heart for when I graduated high school and received my diploma. For it was one of the first accolades I had acquired all on my own that showed years of hard work and accomplishments. It also had came to me during a very complicated time in my life, so it just feels and means so much more .
