What makes me a great caregiver is being very loving, caring, supportive toward the elderly, and a great person. I became a caregiver because from both sides of my family I had 2 great grandmothers who were getting older and as they got older I was always the one to make sure they were okay. I like taking care and going out to run errands with patients, makes us gain a great strong bond to where their family likes you as well. I am proud of myself actually sticking with this field and loving it as much as I do. Also I love how I have not given up on any of this! Some people are so quick to give up on this type of work or take their anger out on the elderly.
