I have worked in the human service field since I was 18. I've always been the care taker for all. I've been in management for over 12 years, hiring staff to provide exceptional care to adults with disabilities. One things I have always said is that I can teach anyone anything but I cannot each them compassion. Staff that I've hired to care for our individuals most definitely have to be compassionate. I am a mother of 3 girls. I'm committed to ensuring that whoever needs care lives their life to their fullest potiential. I have an elderly ill father who I take care of who is my world. The care I would provide would be the care I would expect for him. I have a great sense of humor, dignity is important so I'm prideful in making sure my individuals live with dignity and pride. I myself am very prideful and always strive to do a great job. I get fulfillment out of making a difference in someone's life. I am responsible and reliable. What makes me a good care giver is that again I would make to give anyone the care that I would want for my own loved one.
