1. I am currently retired and unemployed, but seeking a position which would not require me to supervise or manage other employees. 2. I feel it gives me a little flexibility in work hours and responsibilities, while providing companionship to a senior citizen in need of services. 3. I went back to school at age 55 to become an Aesthetician. Being the oldest student in the class, graduating ( in spite of an injury which caused me to lose 3 mos out of class, but coming back and graduating WITH my class) and passing my State Boards to obtain my license. 4. I have worked over the last 40+ years, in various positions, in corporate America. I would like to be of assistance to someone who needs a little attention, and care, to make a difference in their life.

With over 15 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I have honed excellent patient care and charting skills. Holding a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, I am also certified in drugs and alcohol as well as trauma-informed care. Proficient in CPR for adults and children, I demonstrate both compassion and technical proficiency in delivering care to diverse patient populations across various healthcare settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, short-term care facilities, hospice care, and private homes. My expertise extends to caring for individuals with neurological disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and physical disabilities, as well as those in post-operative recovery and convalescence. Among my responsibilities are hands-on nursing care, assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and maintaining accurate patient records. I am well-versed in the legal implications of patient care and consistently demonstrate empathy and compassion in my interactions with clients. With a strong emphasis on communication, I possess excellent verbal and written skills and consider myself a dedicated and trustworthy professional with the innate ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
