Hi my name is Decoda I am a Certified nursing assistant and also a home health aide I have in total 12 years experience working in patient house, nursing home and also hospital and assisted living facility , I work in some of New York top hospitals such a New York Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai and also private duty nursing , I have work with patients that have Alzheimer's, Multiple sorosis, stoke , quadriplegic, cancer etc and also providing companion care. As a Cna my job description include bathing and dressing my patients monitoring there vital sign , meal preparation , light house cleaning , running errand , doctors appointment, administering medication , changing Foley catheter , wound care and reporting any changes to patient family or doctor. I am CPR certified an hold an associate degree , I am simple a fun loving person that will do what ever it take to make my patient happy and well taken care of .

Hello my name is Richelda. I've been a CNA for about 6 years now. I believe that my most valuable personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are kindness and patience. I love what I do because I get to help others and put a smile on their face. Not everyone has a family or someone to keep them comforted so that can get very lonely for them. I became a caregiver because I don't like how some of elderly's be getting mistreated by some caregivers. When my grandma was in this rehabilitation facility after her stroke the caregivers didn't treat her fairly, they abused her mentally. She would cry on how they treated her. This is very unacceptable. I believe it is your mission to provide seniors with high-quality care. I am very passionate about taking care of elderly people. Treat them how you would want your grandparents to be treated. I enjoy being able to help others and just being their companion. That can go a long way! I am proud that I was able to graduate from college and continue my education. That itself was a big achievement.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I ENJOY PROVIDING CARE-GIVING SERVICES TO THOSE THAT CANNOT DO FOR THEMSELVES OR NEED ASSISTANCE. ALSO BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED HELPING PEOPLE SO I KNOW I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING. I am a dedicated compassionate person. I love taking care of people and I have been working with the elderly and people with disabilities for over 25years. I have completed many training such as meditation, cpr courses and variety of courses for HOme Health Aide.

What attracted me to being a caregiver is knowing that I could make someone's life easier for them in so many different ways, not only do I get to learn more about the people I work with but I also get to be someone who's reliable to them.
