I have been a CNA for 20 years ,I have experience in home care,hospice care ,hospital setting, and Assisted living facility ..I enjoy helping others , I also like to learn as much as I can to help and be able to make my job easier and provide knowledge when needed for families .I have cared for patients with alzeihmers, dementia,stroke,multiple sclerosis, blind, and elderly . And i am currently in nursing school.

I am a quiet, soft-spoken woman who loves, helping others, especially the elderly but also those who can not do for themselves. I am compassionate, caring, loving and patient. What attracted me to this line of "work" was my love for my grandparents and the admiration I had for them. I was born with so much empathy and love in my heart for others. They saw it and encouraged me as a small child to follow my passion. I did. I started working in nursing home , became certified, and was a CNA for ten years. I LOVED it and I learned so much during my time there. After going to the local hospital, for the same job, I was approached by a supervisor in regards to a technician job. The hours were better so I accepted. The love I have for the elderly has never left and I still to this day help the inpatients on the floor when I can. My greatest achievement I think, besides raising my children alone, is I know and have been told how I have put patients at ease by being genuine and positive. I have been known to finish a test, yet sit with my patient and talk until we both cry or laugh. Sometimes, all they need is someone to listen. That's me.
