Having worked as a freelance and caring for the elderly for the past decade, I have acquired the skills and knowledge to fulfill the position in question. During these many years I have diligently addressed the needs of my patients assuring their comfort. I was directly responsible for assisting in their personal hygiene, administering their medications and above all, providing the psychological motivation and attention my patients needed. After earning my degree in Social Work in 1986, from SUAM University in Brazil (degree fully recognized today here in the United States), I started working as a Social Worker. I kept this Profession until the year 2000, when I moved to the USA . Aside from my B.A., I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Care Aide, by the American Red Cross. I am skillful on web browsing, Microsoft Office and Windows. I speak fluent Portuguese and English. My goal is to find a stable position where I am able to do the job I enjoy. I believe this position is a good match for my skills.
