Growing up, I volunteered in nursing homes because my mom encouraged me to get involved with the community. Once I started, I continued through college. I have prior experience as a caregiver in college with a private company which was family owned. I enjoyed reading to patients, walking with them and assisting patients at home because I had previously been involved in my local community. I have prepared meals, medicines and rides to doctor appointments. Being an assistant to those who are unable to totally care for themselves has been a passion of mine for a long time.
