Back in 2016, I left Dietary and became a full time nursing assistant. I worked as a nursing assistant in a ALF for about 6 months; I was offered another job opportunity at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and decided to try a new setting, where I stuck around for 3 years. Currently, I work at Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital, formerly known as Complex Care at Ridgelake and have been there for about 6 months. I absolutely love patient care, I've been doing it for 4 years now. Meeting new patients and families everyday and watching them recover is a great experience, but I think it's even greater when you can build a connection with the patient and family. It would be an honor to work for a family that's willing to let me help make their life easier.
