I have been a caregiver at an early age. My parents were dealing with illnesses when I was in elementary schooI. I learned about doctor visits, medication, proper dietary needs and how people need compassion in coping with changes in life brought about by illness or just aging. My dad use to call me "a regular lil' Florence Nightingale". In my work years I have pursued a very rewarding career in Aircraft Engineering. I loved the big birds but the one thing that I cared about more were the people in my pursuit. In my journey of life I have been given a gift.....compassion for others!
