About me. My name isJeanette Lopez I'm 44- years old . I was born and NY raised in Puerto Rico . I would describe myself as outgoing , friendly, and talkative. I thrive when surrounded by other people, and find it easy to connect with anyone I meet. Always looking for bridges , not fences. I would also say that I have a sense of humor, and people generally enjoy my company. I think what describes me the best is the "creative mind " because I always enjoy to come up with ideas, think outside the box, or even challenge the status quo. Now it doesn't mean that I find it hard to oblige the rules . I do that. But I don not hesitate twice to share my feed back and suggest improvements. I'm a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. The reason I became a caregiver was because of my grandmother and my stepmom. As a young girl I had to help my stepmom she had diabetes. She didn't take very good care of herself and had to have her legs amputated. So of course I helped her with her baths, get dressed even though we had nurse to come to our home. Then there was my grandma she had cancer of bladder so I assisted her with doctor appointment and few chores around the house. What I'm most proud of and achievement is being a great parent, terrific and loving grandmother, and a very dedicated , and loyal wife. My family is very important to me. Give me the opportunity to help your family you want be disappointed.

I like to look at my client as if I am caring for my own Loved one is what helps me become a better caregiver. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I was looking after my grandma and I was the only one around and helping, while other family was out living life when there own mom needed them the most. So after she passed i looked into being a caregiver and have been doing my job every since. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that they tell a lot of amazing story's, and you can pick up a lot of wisdom from them as well. I am a experienced caregiver with a tremendous amount of heart and faith in always doing the right thing. I am dependable and honest to a fault. My experience covers a lifetime of caring for individuals in ALFs, hospitals, residential as well as supervising others in the field. Currently, I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida. My degrees include: Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of South Florida (USF), B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S.W. (Social Work). In the past, I had studied Nursing at Hillsborough Community College (HCC). I am fully capable taking a B/P manually or electronically, Hoyer lift, as well as the usual TPR and weights. I have volunteered with Life Path Hospice from fall 2007 - fall of 2010. -- Currently, I am learning German, Finnish, Italian, Indonesian and know basic Spanish. Also, I have had studied basic Korean, French, Norwegian and Swedish languages for the pure joy of learning. If needed, I can work full-time short term (negotiable), live-in a few days a week, daytime or overnight and have had my second COVID vaccine.

I started in the medical field at the age of 16, because Iknew that that was what i wanted to do. I continued on when I went to the air force working with my fellow soldiers, when I came back home I have worked in Drs office , and ultimately working for elderly and Hospice. It is very fulfilling to know that I can make a difference and put a smile on someones face just by being there. Helping people is my PASSION
