Being a Primary care-giver for your loved one can be a very stressful time for a family, especially when you are still trying to maintain your own home, job & your children. I have the experience, empathy & expertise of relieving you of some of this burden. I really love the elderly & will treat your loved one as if they were my own. I first became a CNA when I was 15 years old, so I do have a lot of experience. In my most recent case , I was working for a private agency, in a private facility caring for a 99 year young woman with macular degeneration (Blindness) and hearing loss, with typical heart problems for her age, & slight dementia, requiring 24 hour care. We dressed her, cooked for her, reminded of medications, walked with walker for exercise, attended Dr. appointments & also used a wheelchair. we went on daily outings outside in the fresh air, & attending many facility activities. I had been with her for about 1-1/2 years. Prior to that, I cared for another elderly woman with severe chronic, dementia, it was extremly challenging & through working directly with the Hospice nurses I was able to learn so much more about this debilitating disease, how to handle different situations, & comfort the family at the same time. I was with her for a little over a year before she sadly passed away. And prior to that I took care of an 89 year old woman, for about 2 years, she was living in her home with her son & his family, during the days while they worked. cooking, light cleaning, medication reminders, dressing, bathing and all over just keeping her company. I can provide references from the families upon request & I have passed a current background check. I am very reliable. Hours are flexible to the familiy's needs. I am available for weekends also. Thanks for looking, hope to be in touch soon ! Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. Ph # 727-408-1068

I became a caregiver because I have experienced family members and close friends that went through difficult and painful illnesses. I saw a need for a person who could advocate as well as be there in a loving, compassionate, and dedicated way. I also had friends who were going through the same experience with their loved ones. I am very thankful for the 13 years experience I have had. In these years I have learned the necessities and responsibilities it takes to be a quality caregiver who is loyal and highly regards the client's integrity, safety, well being, and comfort. I believe in helping a person to remain independent as long as they are capable. I am very knowledgeable in multiple levels of care giving including Alzheimer/ Dementia, Cancer, COPD, Parkinson's, Stroke, Heart Attack. I have a level 2 background check through AHCA. I am drug free and smoke free, good with pets and enjoy cooking.
