About Tondala

I became a caregiver after taking care of my stepfather that later died of Bone Cancer. I always wanted someone else to have the same care that my family and I was able to do for my stepdad.. I enjoy being a caregiver because I'm able to allow someone to remain in their own home and keep as much of their dependency as possible. My personal achievement is continue to learn and embrace the elderly. I am a very patient individual, always willing to learn new things. I enjoy meeting new people and learning their background.

I became a caregiver around 1979, always felt needed wanting to help the elderly people of all kinds. I enjoy being around people when it comes to helping the sick. I will be their for them if needed. You have to be patient understanding caring know their needs and provide lots of TLC. I took care of a elderly for 14 years, she was in a wheel chair when I met her. also a heavy drinker. Within that 14years of my caring for her I was able to help her family and the client to make a decision for the client to under go knee surgery. She was able to walk for 6 years which was joyful time for her. Few more years after that she was able to give up drinking with a little of my help. I was very happy to see this achievement. The family was proud to see this accomplishment and thank me for my assistance. This made me feel so happy and wonderful that I was able to be their for them. I am a understanding and caring person when I can help someone that needs my services I will be their. I also enjoy traveling being around my grandchildren, love my church, I love to keep up with my landscape, enjoy exercising, and focus on my health.
