I've enjoyed connecting with our senior community for many years. My mother would pick up seniors to transport them to various grocery stores or dr appointments. She herself was very compassionate about assisting one of our most vulnerable people groups. So I guess I learned from her. Many times I've found them to be lonely and maybe enjoy playing dominoes or scrabble or putting puzzles together or do simple gardening. I've assisted families who were searching for senior living options. It's been my experience that they love being in their own familiar surroundings as long as they can, and still be somewhat active even for a cup of tea and conversation on a veranda. They still have much to contribute in some of the experiences they've lived out. We should learn from them! [?]
