I'll assist with medication, bathing, dressing/grooming, meal preparation, transfers from bed to wheelchair, food shopping or errands, housekeeping, assisting for doctors appointment,companionship, reading them news papers or playing games like scrubble to keep their mind active, emotional support and basically helping her with her daily needs and wants. I have enjoyed assisting seniors ever since i was a young girl.I always loved seeing everyone smile when i'd come to visit my grandma at her retirement home.I always knew how to handle situations without anyone telling me,i always knew when something was wrong with others and i knew how to help & cheer them up.My grandma always told me i would be in nursing and that i would be successful because i was good at what i do.When my grandma past away i desided i would care for elderly in memory of my grandma.I am proud that i have achieved my CNA license and that i make a difference in the lives of the elderly.That i help the elderly and their families feel safe,cared about and loved.It is very rewarding to know i helped bring peace and comfort to families and there is no greater reward than that.
