I have always cared for people. When I was a young mother, I took in foster children, and, when I had elderly family, I took care of them. I treat my patients with respect and dignity. I have been asked many times if my patient was my loved one, (mother, grandmother, etc). I like being able to make my own days and hours, and, when I have a regular schedule, I keep it. One day a week I volunteer at Vitas Hospice. I am always prompt and ready to work when I arrive. One of my personal achievements is that my patients and their families treat me like family and ask me questions about different issues, respecting my knowledge. I worked in the Medical Field for the University of Miami for about 30-years and I have a lot of medical knowledge about illness and medications.
