I was hired to work 4 days/24 hour shifts. 92 hours straight. I loved my client, He had Dementia. We would sit outside on patio. talk, read him the news paper. At the time I was able to bring my dog Matilda. He loved having her there. Always making sure she was okay. Client need a Hoyer Lyft electric. Total hygiene, Dressing, Wound Vac, Injection to the Pic- Line, Used walker, wheelchair, Transfer to from bed, bath, chair, toilet. Cooking, then did homemade graded food. House keeping. Grocery shopping, going pickup supplies. And call in medication and pickup. At the end client got gangrene and I would help assist with the Podiatrist. Client went to ICU stayed 24 shifts. Client came home to pass. I had to give Morphine for pain. Sat 48 hours until passing. Got him ready for pickup.

Client had Dementia, needed complete care. Hygiene, Depends required, Dressing, Medications- daily and fixed weekly / morning, afternoon, and bedtime. Some feeding, gait belt for walking. Range of Motion. Read newspaper, books. We watched old movies. I loved blow drying her beautiful gray hair. Then curl, it looked so pretty.

I took care of Tim's mom. Client lived with his sister. Tim lived in Alabama and paid me. He didn't know how his mother was really being taken care of. I worked 10am til 6:30. Client went to bed until I arrived each morning. Only bathed twice a week, per daughter. Client had mild Dementia, needed some help with feeding. House cleaning, gave medication, wore depends at night. Used wheelchair when I started. Within 2 weeks had client using a walker. I would get her outside, for drives, we ate out. We had a wonderful relationship. Worked some 24 shifts. I had to make a decision to call the son Tim due to care after my shift. It was decided for client to be moved to Alabama. I helped drive with client and son. And stayed 8 days in Alabama getting client settled in.
