I was inspired to become a caregiver by my family. More specifically my aunt and uncle ,who I cared for while they were ill. I find satisfaction in my role as a caregiver when I know I have made my patient comfortable and met their immediate needs. I find it a privilege to care for a person who is no longer able to perform simple daily tasks themselves and provide them with the care and dignity they so deserve. I have recently been awarded 2014 Caregiver of the Year for the Atlanta Region by the Roslyn Carter Institute for Care giving. My interest would be to care for your loved one that is in a location local to me. I prefer not to travel into Atlanta or far from the West side of town. Thank you for your consideration.
