Provide assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and other mental health services to seriously emotionally and behaviorally challenged young girls who have been placed in a foster care setting (maximum of 32). Assist incoming youth who are victims of child abuse, neglect and sexual abuse adjust to group home living by discussing the expectations and behaviors deemed appropriate. Initiate the assessment process for all incoming residents to include triage, gathering of demographic and historical information to assess for any crisis situations and develop plans for ongoing safety. Ensure all youths educational goals, needs and welfare are being met by IEP's, ISP's, tribunals, disciplinary meetings, administrative proceedings, conferences, etc. Review progress notes from therapists, counselors, mental health facilities, and the psychiatrist to ensure adequate services are being provided. Coordination of monthly reports, discharges, Individual Service Plans, and assessments. Observe resident behavior and discuss concerns with the resident in an effort to achieve improvement. Provide group training to clients in implementing behavior modification techniques identified in treatment plan. Update treatment plan goals, recommendation for continued services, areas needing improvement and goals met every 6 months.

Worked in community setting and worked closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. Provided assistance and strategies to the home individuals enabling them to live as independently as possible. Provided transportation and support for outings and field trips, medical appointments, and shopping. Assisted with daily living skills including meal preparation and assisted with medication administration.

Provided victim services to Military members, family members and DoD civilians who had been victims of Sexual Assault and/or Sexual Harassment. Provided professional and comprehensive advocacy services to individuals exhibiting a wide variety of issues related to being a victim/survivor of sexual assault/harassment, child abuse and domestic violence. Conducted assessments with clients to determine needs and evaluates safety and levels of risk. Providing information on victimization crime prevention; victims' legal rights and protections; information on the criminal justice process. Assessed the urgency of cases and developed a plan for assistance. Developed and implemented an appropriate plan of action in crisis situations. Recognized symptoms of emotional distress or social disorganization and referred to appropriate professional. Educated and trained Soldiers, Sr. Leaders, and community and family members regarding prevention of Domestic Violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault/harassment and child abuse. Educated clients on reporting options.
