Four years ago I retired from nursing. Recently, I moved to Phoenix Arizona to be near family. I have one married daughter in Phoenix where I presently reside, and another married daughter in Peoria. My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping. I have been a CNA since 1995 and worked in nursing homes for 6 years. I worked for Banner Hospital for 13 years in the med-surg /oncology unit. I have been working for kindly care for 2 years and previously worked for synergy for 1 year. I enjoy working one on one with clients in their home. I would like to keep working as Caregiver because I genuinely enjoy caring for people. I can help others to recover and stay in their homes as long as possible.

I earned my bachelors degree in psychology at the University of California Riverside. At the moment I am in nursing school. I was a caregiver for 2 years prior to beginning school. I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2.
