Hi my name is China Blount I am 25 years old. I've been working as a caregiver for 5 years. I'm a very caring person I love helping those who can't help themselves. I got attracted to being a caregiver because I had a grandfather that got sick that I helped very often.I'm proud of me becoming a med-tech I feel like that was a great accomplishment and I'm looking forward to go farther in this journey.

A caregiver who that provide empathy for other people, especially those who depend on others for essential care, should be the first and foremost quality in a good caregiver. This involves understanding the challenges that people with disabilities face and caring about their comfort, safety, happiness, and growth.

I would describe myself as a respectful, observant, reliable and patient person who provides first class care. I am a dedicated caregiver experienced in working with disabled patients. I am committed to improving overall well-being and health through personal care and energetic engagement. Skilled in assisting patients with daily living.

I am kind and responsible. I have been caregiving since 2010.

I have been working in the home health field for over 3 years now. I love what i do, helping those who can not help themselves is something that i dont mind doing, because we all have to travel that road someday. Me personally, when i care for a client they become family to me and family is everything. Almost 3 years ago i lost my bestfriend/grandmother/2nd mom to someone not doing their job correctly, all they cared about was the money and not the human life their negligence was having on them. I stive to do better, no im not perfect, but i work hard at what i do, becuase seeing smile on my clients face means everything to me at the end of the day.

I think the most important trait I have to be a caregiver is kindness. I believe no matter what you should have a caring heart and be kind to people just like you would want someone to be kind with you. I have a big personality and I love to smile and to make other people smile and laugh. Another trait I have is patience which I think is very important being a caregiver because you should always stay calm and avoid frustration. I'm very compassionate about anything I do and very big on my communication skills with others. For five years I helped take care of my grandfather who is disabled which is what really made me want to go into the caregiving field even more. I get a joy out of being able to help others and knowing you can make a difference in someone's life. Another thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is the fact you get to work from home, and also meet new people. Since wanting to be a caregiver I decided to go back to school for nursing and that's something I'm very proud of. Hopefully soon I'll be registered and able to explore more options in the nursing field.

Hello, my name is Quiniya but you can me Niya for short. I have been working and this field since I was 17, a senor in high school. My first job was working in the kitchen of a retirement home. I later started working as a can and also was certified to pass out medications, all in the same workplace. I am also in good spirit when I come to my place of work. I always try my best to leave my personal at the door. I come to work and make someone's day easier. What attracted me to being a caregiver was just how I grew up. Helping my aunt who was confined to her bed. I have also help raise my younger siblings and also niece and nephews. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just helping out, giving out positive vibes and putting smiles on people's faces. Personal achievements for me that I am proud is making people happy and having a connection with that person that I am helping.
