I'm a very optimistic person with a lot of enthusiasm, laid back and open to changes as well as learning and listening. I've always enjoyed helping people and it's fulfilling to my soul to no I'm making a difference in someone life that appreciate and needs assistance. Medical Careers run in my family tree so naturally I have gravitated into the field as well. I love people and think we should all be treated with respect and kindness. I started caregiving due to the fact of both of my son's great-grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. I did not want them to be placed in a home or separated. Then after both of them passed away, I sadly went back to my wrecker service. Worked only two weeks and decided this is not what God wants me to do. So I went to work for Kelly's assisted living as an on-call coordinator and doing PCA work during the day. Then Mr Hartman came into my life he suffered from MS completely quadriplegic I was told I would be lucky if he lived 5 years. He became a father to me I kept him alive with the grace of God for over 20 years. He was a very large man that was bed bound but everybody was amazed that he only had one bed sore the entire time I took care of him. I do not have a problem with any pets and helping take care of them. I also will help your loved one with grocery shopping all ADLs and housekeeping.I love to make people smile. I have a quirky sense of humor. I also worked in a facility under memory Care. I just hope as I age someone will care for me as I have cared for the people in my life. I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

I genuinely care about my clients. In addition to doing my job in a professional manner, I treat all of my clients with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well. I truly enjoy working with seniors assisting them with independence and a better quality of life.

I love what I do let me start off by saying that and I believe when a person live their job it's for them to not be an problem when it comes to doing their job. I love taking care of people I think I get that from my nana (grandmother) she always had me with her as she was doing her work and I think I took it interesting bad an child I enjoy the look on clients face when you have given them good news about their loved one it could be something so small but it's really huge because of the fact that they have been trying to get them to do it and maybe they would not but now that they are that's an accomplishment my personality also has alot to do with the type of work I do for example me being sooooooooo caring and I know it may sound a lil not good but I do tend to worry if people are not ok or feeling well and I try to do whatever I can in order to change that. I am proud of me taking the time and getting on the path to what I wanted to do in the long run so early by going to job corps for C.N.A I could not have did anything greater because I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do because I love to take care of people.
