Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. The individuals I work with have serious medical issues such as seizures, hip dysplasia, spinal stenosis and other diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and Autism. I also have experience with Alzheimer's. I assist with all activities of daily life such as showering, toileting, grooming, cooking, feeding, and also having fun!
