I am a loving and caring individual. I started watching babies when one of my siblings had their first baby which was back in 2014 and from there forward I watching babies whenever my family had them. I did have assistance from my other siblings but i got to experience a lot with each of the babies and they all had different personalities and different needs of how to care for them effectively. I currently still babysit my one niece who is 4 now and it's great. I have a now 1 year old and also a Australian shepherd who I going on 5months. I have had dogs my whole life. From being with my parents to living on my own an finding my own animal friend to live. We are currently in dog training classes so that's a great plus. For seniors I've taking care of my grandparents from a very young age (with of course help from my parents) to now I work part time with people with developmental disabilities of ages ranging from 20s on up to 60s plus. House cleaning: that's literally all I do at home. Clean and clean non stop years of experience from a young girl to now. But you get the true experience when you get your own place so I say about 4 years now of truly getting the understanding of household cleaning.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm reliable, flexible, and compassion. I love what I do so without these 3 traits I wouldn't be the great caregiver that I am today. What attracted me to being a caregiver was watching my mom take care of my grandmother. That inspired me to join this field because of the passion my mom had to get up every day to take care of someone she loved. What I enjoy the most is being able to help people who need the help or someone who just want a companion because sometimes us caregivers is the only people that they see and they be happy with that. My personal achievement that I am proud of is learning and dealing with all these different type of diseases that people get as we get older.

I am patient with a sense of humor. I'm very compassionate and dependable. I can be flexible and Im very alert during situations and able to communicate with the family / nurse on duty if need be. Committed to everything I do giving up isn't an option. What attracted me to become a care giver? My granny & grandmother. When they got sick I was all they had I had to quit my job and take care of her 24/7. I went from watching her cook meals, going to bingo, invite her friends over, and especially helping me with everything to waking up one morning and she couldn't do anything let alone remember her name. I like my job as a cna one day ill be a nurse. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is the company that I bring to other.
