At this time I do not have a car, but I do have a license that is current, but I am able to use my daughter's car.. I understand about people with difficulties, my mother had cancer and I took care of her till she passed that was hard. I got hired with another agency but they did not have enough clients to send me out. She did say I tested 3rd highest in company, her name can be supplied if wanted phone number too. I do care about people and do want the best for them. I was employed with the Senior Nutrition Program for 12 years only lost job because they were downsizing and wanted me to work in Palm Springs. I was a manager worked up from driver delivering meals so I do know about dealing with all types of senior problems. I like animals so if they have any it would not be a problem. I hope to find a live in position. No smoking I have had a background check by Gain program and this program, a TB test negative by my doctor also have CPR certificate

I love helping! My grandmother had a huge influence on my life. I have done everything from a to z in eldercare situations. I love it. I don't have grandparents anymore, so my clients are special people in my life. I'm basically quiet but always positive and smiling. I have my CNA, I worked on the Cardiac monitors, so I feel comfortable with situations where some don't. I also took my LPN but didn't test, bc my father was dying from cancer.. I took care of him and realized I liked taking care of people and serving on an up close and personal level.

I enjoy the most about caregiving when clients talk to me about fun stories about their past. I enjoy being their voice to hear whenever they are sad or need a friend to talk to. I enjoy watching western shows and I enjoy most to cook and clean for them.

My caregiving began 19 years ago when I was 18 and earned my CNA. I worked in convalescent hospitals acquiring a lot of knowledge and experience. Later I excepted a caregiving position in a residential setting and quickly learned how much more satisfying one on one care can be. I am a mother of 2 young children. I have spent a good deal of my life in some form of child care and have some experience in senior care as well with elderly family members. I am a loving, compassionate person who loves to help others however I can. I love spending time with the elderly as they bot only provide great company but they also have a great deal of knowledge to share. Which people can learn a great deal from of they take the time to listen. They have given so much to the younger generation all their lives and deserve to get the same in return when they need it.
