My grandparents were put in nursing homes when I was young and treated horrible , so I made the decision to provide care in people's homes so they can remain comfortable.. I love what I do

One trait that sets me aside would be my ability to meet each individual client where they are in their current state, remembering no two are the same. After working inpatient transportation within a hospital for years, I saw there was a greater need for me at the bedside. I always seem to be able to connect with the patients and that is what prompt me to go to school and become a CNA. Becoming a certified nursing assistant was one of my greatest accomplishments. It is a career I enjoy, I am never bored and I always feel there will be a need for me.

I used to work in a unit of dementia and alzheimers so I do have experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I also have my First Aid and CPR Certification up to date, I have a recommendation letter from my previous client, I am bilingual, have a Medical Assistant certification and also have a certification for my Emergency Medical Technician. I have a lot of patience when I comes anything. I do love to cook healthy meals. I can also do light house keeping if you would need me to. I do have my own transportation so im available to also do few food shopping and take to doctors appointments. I'm also pet friendly is the client has a pet. The reason why I should get hired is because first i know how its like to look for care for a loved one and worry if they will do a good job. I've been there when my grandma was very delicate and was in my care. Also my experience on working on this field has brought me joy and love.
