My grandparents were put in nursing homes when I was young and treated horrible , so I made the decision to provide care in people's homes so they can remain comfortable.. I love what I do

I was first attracted to caregiving when inrealized that all the good in me needes a place to be set free and I decided helping others was the best way to do this. I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. With such experience, I've learnt that offering assistance to someone who cannot do for themselves has its rewards - it is greatly appreciated from the person being helped and that is great fulfillment for me. I've also chosen to do this because I'm a nursing student with an interest to specialize in geriatrics.

After working inpatient transportation within a hospital for years, I saw there was a greater need for me at the bedside. I always seem to be able to connect with the patients and that is what prompt me to go to school and become a CNA. Becoming a certified nursing assistant was one of my greatest accomplishments. It is a career I enjoy, I am never bored and I always feel there will be a need for me.

I used to work in a unit of dementia and alzheimers so I do have experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I also have my First Aid and CPR Certification up to date, I have a recommendation letter from my previous client, I am bilingual, have a Medical Assistant certification and also have a certification for my Emergency Medical Technician. I have a lot of patience when I comes anything. I do love to cook healthy meals. I can also do light house keeping if you would need me to. I do have my own transportation so im available to also do few food shopping and take to doctors appointments. I'm also pet friendly is the client has a pet. The reason why I should get hired is because first i know how its like to look for care for a loved one and worry if they will do a good job. I've been there when my grandma was very delicate and was in my care. Also my experience on working on this field has brought me joy and love. I do my best at bringing laughter and happiness to every client. I love the satisfaction I get from everyone that I help. I love putting a smile on everyone's faces.
