I became a caregiver since 1993 when I graduated from a Teachers Training College back in my country Cameroon and started teaching in a kindergarten and middle school respectively for 12 years before travelling to the USA in 2006. I became a caregiver because I have the passion of taking care of children and adults alike. I am a very compassionate person with a flexible, friendly and patient character. I love making people happy and comfortable wherever I am. Being a caregiver has made me learn a lot about life and the way different people behave and interact with others. If I am in an environment that does not need noise I am comfortable, if in another that is noisy I am still comfortable. Have learnt to adapt and move according to what environment I find myself with love and care as much as I can give. I have worked with many people with dementia, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke etc. I did my best to care for them, tolerating and being patient. So I achieved patience and tolerance which is still helping me now when I have to give care.

I became a caregiver because I have a great passion to care for people. I love putting smiles on people's face in which is a healthy therapy for people I care and work for.
