I became a caregiver because it fills my need for helping someone out and builds my pride within myself knowing that I have done that on a daily basis. I like to have many different tasks throughout the day that keep me busy, because have a lot of energy and am well organized to be more efficient and get things completed in a timely and orderly fashion. My greatest personal achievement is my son. He has a diagnosis of down syndrome and I strive every day to make him successful and know that he can accomplish anything he wants to as long as he believes in himself. I have very high expectations of him and my college degree has assisted me in the knowledge to help him succeed and excel. I like to have fun and make people smile, because it is the small things in life that are the most memorable and the most important.
