I currently work for a family privately, full time, in Bellevue Nebraska. I care for an elderly women who lives with her daughter but needs care while her daughter is at work. I am responsible for her care fully, including but not limited to; cooking and preparing meals for her, helping to her to eat, reminding her to drink her fluids and stay hydrated, cleaning her house and doing her laundry, performing transfers to and from her wheelchair and into her recliner chair or bed, giving her bed baths and grooming her as well as styling her hair and getting her dressed daily, offering her companionship and talking with her or watching movies together or reading to her etc., performing brief changes, getting her on and off the commode, helping her take her pills, doing daily range of motion exercises, bringing in the newspaper and mail for her daily, taking the trash out, and many more. I thoroughly love what I do and wouldn't trade in home care for anything in the world.

Comfort Keepers was an in home care company that bored CNA's to go into residents homes throughout the Omaha, Papillion, La Vista, Bellevue, Gretna, and Millard areas. The types of cares varied day to day and per patient. Some days I'd visit multiple patients in multiple homes, other days I'd be with one patient in one location or home.
