My name is Betty Paxton and I am a CNA. I have been for over 25 years. I love this kind of work because this is my calling in life. I believe that every one was born for a special job and this is mine. I believe in doing more then I am expected to do because, I love cooking and making my food look and tasted good. Every clinit I work for, wants me to come back. I work with 3 companys and I believe in treating my clinits like I want people to treated my mother. I care for my mother from time to time as well.

I became a caregiver after volunteering throughout high school at an assisted living and memory care facility. My first year of college I worked as a personal caregiver for a woman with muscular dystrophy. We grew very close and fostered an unforgettable friendship. After transferring to a different college, I began working at an assisted living facility with the elderly. After these experiences, I knew I was destined to become a nurse. I absolutely love people and I am glad to help in any way I can. I am proud of my achievement of being selected as a Resident Assistant amongst a large group of competitors at the university I attended. I have also been on the Dean's List and Honor Roll throughout college. I am a very social person. I love to be around people and make new friends. I am outgoing and patient. I spend a lot of time with my entire family including my parents, siblings, and my 3 year old son. When I am not with my family, I am probably studying! I eventually hope to become a nurse practitioner. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Developmental Delays, Autism, Asperger's, and Muscular Dystrophy. I would be glad to share my resume and references with you. I am currently looking for a short term caregiver position as I will begin a job in nursing in late March, 2018.
