What makes me a great caregiver: I became a CNA at a young age, which gave me lots to learn about caring for someone that needed spezilised care. I learn how my clients like things done and I do the best I can for them. I give 110% in everything I do. Why did I become a caregiver: I became a caregiver because I realized that I could connect with the disabled or the seniors to a degree to understand what they need and how they want task completed. Its important to allow somebody to have their choice in how they live their lives. What do you like about being a caregiver: I greatly enjoy sitting down with a client and learning about how they grew up, and what they enjoyed doing with their time. Most people don't like doing the "dirty work" that comes with being a CNA but it gives me pleasure to know that I helped that person have a better day or helped them look how they would like. I enjoy boosting self-esteem because it greatly impacts how a persons health is. What is a personal achievement you're proud of: I'm proud of myself when I can handle a difficult situation that most people would give up in. I can handle stressful situations with an excellent attitude which allows me and the client to connect. I think its most important when a client trust you, it makes their day go by easier and it helps me to get to know them on a better note.
