I believe that I am a great person that cares for life and other people in this world no matter of race, age, or challenges that one faces through the journey of our life in this earth. I am a Personal Care Aide and became a Caregiver due to finding myself helping my parents with basic daily living activities like, going grocery shopping, talking them to doctor appointments, assist with light cleaning, paying some bills and spending a few hours just visiting and talking to them about anything in mind. I enjoy being a Caregiver because I like it, have a caring nature, am respectful, reliable, trustworthy, and just like helping people in any way that I can. I am proud of myself that I have received a Clinical Medical Assistant certification. I have also, received a certification as a Home Care Aide with sixty-six hours of education and training. I do on going education in Health and am always learning new things and as well. I have three references if needed. I have cared for two elderly men one in his seventies and the other in his eighties. I have not just cared for my parents too but also, children and teenagers as well. I had volunteered as a Foster Mentor to a 13 year old teen and also was a Mentor for an 11 year old boy through Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
