I have worked in healthcare for almost 10 years as a caregiver, CNA, medical assistant and in health information. I have worked in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, vaccination events, and at university. This has given me great experience working with a diverse population of people. My goal is to provide support to each person in a way that promotes both their well being, comfort and dignity while assisting them to engage in their daily life. I affirm bodily autonomy, accessibility and comfort. I am an autistic person who is primarily motivated by the desire to work with other autistic people in my community and other people within the disabled community. With my own experience as an autistic person, I have unique insight and understanding, although we are all different. I know how important it is to be understood by someone who has similar experiences and is able to get it. The quality of my care really thrives in one-on-one connection, which is where my strengths of attentiveness, compassion and personalism really come to life. One of my other strengths is flexibility in adapting care to a person's individual needs. I have worked with many people of varying ages, physical and mental abilities/disabilities. Some examples include dementia (early onset to end stage), diabetes, arthritis, patients with varying amputations (paraplegic to quadriplegic), people with various mental health conditions, and assisting in the daily care/ activities of people ranging from independent/minimal assist to complete care. Personal info about me: I am a creative/artist who enjoys crocheting, knitting, metalsmithing, journaling, writing poetry, reading (usually fiction and sci fi / fantasy), spending time with my 3 sweet and silly cats, playing indie/cozy video games. i love to care old man/woman and also children, my passionate is to cook, reading a story, playing with children, have a conversation with older,.. and exercise, and doing a job inside the hause. like cleaning,..
