I love to take care of the elderly, physically disabled and those with special and mental needs and illnesses. I love my job as a caregiver. I have over 10 years of experience in the care industry. I am also certified in the field. My experience includes client's with, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson Disease, brain dysfunction, mental / physical disabilities, and different forms of cancer. My personal care, and hands-on assistance includes sponge bathing, dressing, grooming, take vitals, assist with medication under a physician instruction, meal preparation, feeding and transferring of a loved one from one area to another comfortably. My experience also involves removing and replacing of catheter, incontinence, use of hoists / Hoyer-lifts, gait-belts, walkers, and wheelchairs. My companionship experience involves life enrichment skills which involves clients in activities such as games, memory books, reading, light exercise (per your physician's instruction), music, take trips to the mall, movies, church, and conversation. I really enjoy working with clients of all ages/socio-economic backgrounds, and have demonstrated an ability to quickly adapt, and develop great relationships with clients and their families. I am dependable, reliable, trustworthy, warm, sincere, and I will provide you and your loved one the dignity and privacy they deserve to enrich their quality of life.
