I'm from India speak English Hindi and Punjabi. l like to work adults elderly. I love to take care people whose need help.

I decided to become a caregiver because i am very compassionate and eager to help people especially those who need direct care. i also enjoy working with older population and what i enjoy the most is knowing that i make someone happy everyday by helping with activities of daily living. my personal achievement is graduating college. i am very easy to work it , very positive about life and i am a very fast learner.

I treat my clients like family and I love my job I just recently came back to this field of work although it pays less this is where my heart is at especially after loosing my sister I knew I had to get back to what gives me so much joy

I think I am a great caregiver because I pay strict attention to the needs and wants of my clients. I became a caregiver, after I retired, because I love people and have a passion to help. Patience : especially when dealing with the elderly, it is essential for a caregiver to be patient because some of the consumers might not know what they are doing and some needed more time to understand informations . Respecting my patients' privacy and dignity. Exhibiting a positive demeanor and kind tone of voice. Being considerate and kind when working with the patient. I've been a Licensed CNA for 4 in a half years. I've worked in nursing homes assisted livings hospitals and mental/substance abuse units. I'm very genuine loving and understanding when it comes to my work because i know it's hard to find that in the healthcare field nowadays, it's like everyone just does it for the money and no passion behind it. Although i like to get paid it's genuine passion that comes with me. I got into this field because of my grandmother so i proud myself on treating my patients clients and/or residents as such. I'm currently in nursing school, well doing my prerequisites for nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College I'm super proud and excited about that because going back for my R.N has been a goal of mine since i became a CNA back in 2019. Im just proud that I'm actually and finally in the process of making that happen! Dominating and changing the healthcare industry is my end game.

I am a very patient and optimistic person. I believe everyone has the right to live their lives the best way that they can irrespective of their condition. I am a compassionate person and that is what got me into the caregiver field in the first place. I cared for my loved one when he was recovering from surgery and since then I have caring for people especially seniors because they do not have the ability to do most things that they could not do when they were younger. I like to see people smiling and happy and that is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, the ability to put a smile on someone's face. I do not see the disability but I see the ability hidden. I let people know that you can create sunshine even when it is wet and rainy and dark.
