I treat my patients/residents like my own family. I know what it's like to try and find good care for a family member and how stressful it can be. I also know how I would want my parents cared for If I was needing care for them so that's how I try to look at anyone I care for. I thoroughly enjoy helping others in all aspects of my life. Whenever I can show someone I care who didn't think anyone gave them a second thought. It's an awesome feeling when you develop a relationship with the person who's always hateful to all your coworkers. It's not caregiving related but I repelled down the big blue building in lex a few years ago. One of the most insanely awesome times in my life!
