Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

Very experienced caregiver w CNA education and training. Experience in a variety of settings including working with the developmentally disabled and people with severe mental illness. Hospice cargiver. Stroke experience. Great with a hoyer lift for non-ambulatory patients. Great at transfers and preventing falls and injury. Willing to transport clients to doctors appointments, therapy, gym, or any other activity. Will grocery shop. Only interested in very light housekeeping as i typically work for clients whom are in need of medical assistance. Willing to cook meals and administer medications. Schedule is flexible (shift or live-in (shift) ) available). Current stroke client leaving for a nursing home. Availability wont last long. Willing to relocate for a GREAT opportunity.
