Honestly, I wasn't going to be in the medical field until my father was in a nursing home and did not get the treatment I felt he deserved. So, I became a CNA and graduated from a phlebotomy course at Owensboro community and technical college. I LOVE working with the alzheimer and dementia patients, I have a soft spot for them. However, I love all of my residents and people I have cared for.
