I became a caregiver because I love being able to help someone who is in need. I cared for my great grandmother who had Alzheimer's disease and my mother who had sever rheumatoid arthritis and pulmonary hypertension. I've cared for people with many different disabilities. One of my personal achievements that I'm proud of is that I received my CNA license. I didn't think that I would complete the course because my mom was really sick at the time. But she pushed me to do it knowing that I would be making a difference in many lives. I lost my mom a month after I received my license. So now I want to spend my time helping others in need.
