What makes me a great caregiver is I don't do my job for the money of it. I do my job because of the passion and love I have to help people. I feel that caring for someone who can't always care for themselves is a blessing and also a chance at making a difference in their life as well. I choose to become a caregiver because I lost my grandparents at an early age both my grandmother's at the age of 12, one of my grandfather's at the age of 18 and the other one past before I was born so I kind of grown attach to others and think of them as one of my own grandparents. May sound odd but that's where I find comfort working with the elderly mostly. I also have a son that has a learning disability, as well as behavior problems so I can understand and also have the patients to deal with people with disabilities. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is putting a smile on all my clients faces and showing them the amount of love and compassion that I do. Letting them know that they are what matters to me the most. My personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and now I am currently working on becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
